ARMED ROBBERY
1500 block of S. George Mason Drive. On Sept. 21, at 10:05 p.m., a 36-year-old woman was getting out of her vehicle in front of her apartment when an unknown subject approached her, produced a handgun and demanded her purse. The subject then grabbed the victim's purse and ran to a waiting pickup truck. The victim ran after the subject screaming. An officer in an unmarked vehicle was stopped for a red light at the intersection of George Mason Drive and S. Four Mile Run Drive and noticed the waiting pickup truck and a second subject in the driver's seat.
As the officer was watching the vehicle, Subject No. 1 ran and jumped into the truck and the truck sped away. The officer followed the truck, and when marked units attempted to stop it, it fled into Washington, D.C. Officers pursued the truck. At some point, Subject No. 1 jumped from the vehicle. He was not apprehended. Subject No. 2 was apprehended by an Arlington officer. Subject No. 1 was described as white male, 25, 5 feet 7 inches, 160 pounds, wearing a gray hooded coat, red hat and blue jeans. Subject No. 2 was identified as Allen Brady Weaver, 35, of Clinton, Md. Weaver was arrested, charged with robbery, and is currently being held in Washington, D.C. pending extradition to Arlington.
ARMED ROBBERY/MALICIOUS WOUNDING
1200 block of S. George Mason Drive. On Sept. 21, at 10:36 p.m., a 19-year-old male, was walking along S. George Mason Drive when a vehicle occupied by three subjects stopped near him. The subjects got out of the vehicle and approached the victim.
Subject No. 1 confronted the victim and asked him if he was in a gang. The victim replied that he wasn't and began to walk away from the subjects. Subject No. 1 then struck the victim on the head with a bat. All three subjects then began to hit the victim. The victim attempted to fight back. During the struggle, one of the subjects stabbed the victim. A passing vehicle caused the subjects to flee the scene on foot. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Subject No. 1 was described as a white Hispanic male, 21, 5 feet 5 inches, 130 pounds, brown eyes, black hair, wearing a black and white plaid button-down shirt and khaki pants. Subject No. 2 was described as a white Hispanic male, 18, 5 feet 3 inches, 200 pounds, brown eyes, bald, wearing a black "Dickie's" shirt. Subject No. 3 was described as a white Hispanic male, 18, 5 feet 3 inches, 180 pounds, brown eyes, black hair wearing a cream-colored, short-sleeved, button-down shirt.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY
3600 N. Harrison St. Sometime between 3 p.m. on Sept. 24 and 1:10 a.m. on Sept. 25, unknown subject(s) forced entry into Williamsburg Middle School through a door. Nothing appeared to be missing.
INDECENT EXPOSURE
3800 block of Columbia Pike. On Sept. 26, at 10:47 p.m., officers responded for a report of a naked male subject walking along Columbia Pike. Earle A. Haney, 48, of the 3800 block of Columbia Pike was arrested and charged with indecent exposure.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING
2700 block of Nelson St. On Sept. 22, at 10 a.m., a man, 41, confronted a subject that he observed tampering with a bicycle. The subject picked up two rocks and threw them at the victim. One of the rocks struck the victim in the head. The subject was transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Upon seeing responding officers, the subject fled on foot and escaped. The subject is described as a white Hispanic male, 25-35, 5 feet 7 inches, 145 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, wearing black pants and no shirt.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING/BURGLARY
6000 block of Wilson Blvd. On Sept. 23, at 1 a.m., a woman, 35, was at home when her ex-husband forced entry into the house. After an ensuing argument, the ex-husband stabbed the victim in the chest. The victim received medical treatment for her injuries at a local hospital. Marco Tulio Dubon-Romero, 36, of Suitland, Md., was arrested in Prince George's County, Md., and is charged with malicious wounding and burglary. He is awaiting extradition to Virginia.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
900 block of S. Buchanan St. Sometime between 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 20 and 7 p.m. on Sept. 21, unknown subject(s) entered an apartment and stole a Sony Playstation 2 game console. There were no signs of forced entry.
1100 block of S. 23rd St. Sometime between 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 22 and 1 p.m. on Sept. 25, unknown subject(s) entered a residence and stole a stereo, tool box and approximately 70 compact discs. There were no signs of forced entry.
4200 block of N. 2nd Road. Sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 2;30 p.m. on Sept. 27, unknown subject(s) forced entry into an apartment through a window and stole seven pairs of shoes, three basketball jerseys, and four baseball caps.
