Fairfax will host its 28th annual Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 9. Organizers expect over 500 arts, crafts, information and food vendors to appear at this year's event, which will also include a carnival, new car show and live entertainment.
"There will be many of the same activities as in the past," said Leslie Herman, who is coordinating the festival. The car show will feature the 2005 models, and five bands will be performing at the SunTrust bank.
More than anything else, Herman said, will be the hundreds of craft vendors. "It's really a big craft show," she said.
