Kyle J. Emery of Fairfax Station is enrolled at St. Lawrence University as a member of the class of 2008. St. Lawrence is located at Canton, N.Y. Emery graduated from Lake Braddock Secondary School in Burke.
Michael J. Marini of Burke received his M.C.J. in criminal justice from Boston University.
David Hodges of Burke recently performed as Henderson in the fall Lynchburg College Theatre production of “You Can’t Take It with You.” Hodges is the son of Thomas and Patricia Hodges of Burke.
Jennifer Heuer of Burke is spending the fall 2004 semester studying abroad through Syracuse University's Division of International Programs Abroad. Heuer is an SU senior majoring in management.
Jillian Maslyn of Fairfax Station was recently named a Chancellor Scholar at Syracuse University. Chancellor Scholarships are awarded to entering first-year and transfer students and recognize outstanding academic achievement. Maslyn is enrolled in SU's College of Arts and Sciences majoring in psychology.
Susan Sherwood of Burke is involved in the production of the musical "Once Upon a Mattress" at Grove City College in Pennsylvania. Sherwood, a freshman biochemistry major, is the daughter of Rich and Susan Sherwood.
Ingrid Opitz of Burke is displaying her art titled "The Unbound Mood" at the 2004 National AP Studio Art Exhibition, taking place at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts in Nashville, Tenn. Opitz is a freshman at the Maryland Institute College of Art.
Michelle Christina Tolson of Burke is in charge of set construction of Mary Baldwin College's production of "Everyman." Tolson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Tolson.
