Open House. The Town of Vienna Department of Public Works hosts an open house from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the Northside Public Works Facility, 600 Mill St., N.E., to celebrate Public Works Week. Midway Slots trip. The Vienna Parks and Recreation Department sponsors a trip to Midway Slots in Delaware. A charter bus leaves at 10 a.m. from the Vienna Community Center, 120 Cherry St. S.E., and returns at about 6 p.m. Cost for transportation and buffet meal is $15 for Town of Vienna residents and $20 for out-of-town participants.
