How did you get started doing massage therapy? I started working for a chiropractor, a healing chiropractor, who worked alongside a lady who was doing myofascile therapy. They worked together on people, and she knew I liked to work on horses and she thought I should go to school for it. That's how I started doing people, too.

When did your interest in horses start? I've always loved horses. I grew up on a farm and we had horses, and I would rather hang out with them than my brothers and sisters. A girl and her horse.

And your work with dogs? I work mostly on big dogs who have hip dysplasia or mood disorders, older dogs with arthritis.

What is your favorite part of your job? I think my favorite part is having a challenge to work on. When they come in with a tight muscle, especially with the horses, they can't communicate, and then you have that "Aha!" moment.

One thing about your community that you enjoy that you don't think most people know about, or something important for a newcomer to know: Great Falls. I think that people think of it as this ritzy place, but for the most part, it's still the tight-knit community it was when it was all farms.

Favorite activities: Horseback riding is one of them, and exercise. I like to do yoga and run.

Other favorite things (e.g., favorite place to take a walk, favorite place to see the sunset): For a Friday night out, I'd have to say the Old Brogue Irish Pub. My favorite Italian food is at Dante's. The W&OD Trail for rollerblading or walking.

A book, movie, vacation or other experience you enjoyed: I went to Ireland last year. That was awesome. That was so nice. The people were really friendly.
