SpiritSong presents "Just for the Joy of it," a program performed by New World Unity's musicians. They will share their hearts through original works that express the New Thought message. Gospel Music. Christ Presbyterian Church hosts its second annual Family Fair on Saturday, May 15, from 10-2 p.m., rain or shine, at 12410 Lee-Jackson Highway, Fairfax. The Fair will feature a moon bounce, numerous games and prizes, cotton candy, face painting, cakewalk, clowns, Fairfax Fire Station 21 Fire and Rescue vehicles and more. Burke United Methodist Church hosts "The Parables as Keys to Healthy Relationships" on Sundays, May 16, and 23, from 6-7:30 p.m. This course is offered by Luminea Institute of the Center for Pastoral Counseling of Virginia and is taught by Rev. Doug Thorpe, Ph.D. It is designed to help participants unlock the secrets of healthy, satisfying relationships from the parables of Jesus. These simple stories harbor life-changing wisdom. This course is for anyone who wants better relationships and a deeper understanding of the Parables. The fee is $100/person for the four sessions.
