The Omicron Kappa Kappa (OKK) Foundation of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. held its sixth annual Scholarship Ball at the Westfield Marriott Hotel in Chantilly. The ball has become a yearly tradition and major fund raiser in Northern Virginia for the Reston/Herndon Chapter. Over the past three years the chapter has given more than $15,000 to area high school seniors entering their first year of college. This year the chapter hopes to raise enough funds to make scholarships awards available over a four-year period. OKK Chapter was chartered Dec. 14, 1996 becoming the 23rd Graduate chapter of Omega Psi Phi chartered in the Third District since 1990.
