Coast Guard Seaman Recruit Matthew A. Goldston, a 1999 graduate of Oakton High School, recently graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Recruit Training Center in Cape May, N.J. Goldston will join 36, 000 other men and women of the Coast Guard.
Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Brennan M. Rader, son of Eileen Rader of Vienna and Robert M. Rader of Great Falls, recently returned from a routine, scheduled deployment aboard the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise while assigned to the Strike Fighter Squadron 82 Marauders, home based at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, S.C. Rader is a 2000 graduate of McLean High School and joined the Navy in September 2000.
