<lst>The following incidents were reported to the City of Fairfax Police Department.

<cal1>Assault/Arrest

<cal2>10830 Main St. / Fairfax Baptist Church. On June 20, around 8:31 p.m., officers responded to a report of an assault. Officers arrived and found the victim who reported that he had been assaulted by another person after a disagreement. The suspect was located walking near by and identified as Jose Antonio Vasquez, 41, of the 4100 block of Stevenson St., Fairfax. He was arrested and charged with Assault. His bond was set at $1,000.

<cal1>Attempted Burglary

<cal2>10521 Judicial Drive / Law Office of Steve Armstrong. Sometime between June 18 and June 21, unknown person(s) attempted to gain entry into the office but were unsuccessful. The Criminal Investigation Divisions is investigating the case.

<cal1>Attempted Larceny

<cal2>9493 Arlington Blvd. / Fox Croft Condominiums. On June 21, between 1:30 a.m. and 8 a.m., unknown person(s) entered a vehicle parked in the complex and attempted to steal items inside.

<cal1>Burglary

<cal2>9512 Main St. / ABC Store. On June 20, around 2:22 a.m., officers responded to an alarm at the business. When officers arrived, they found that the window on the front door broken out. Further investigation revealed that several bottles of liquor were stolen from the store. The Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the case.

<cal1>Concealed Weapon

<cal2>4200 block of University Drive. On June 18, at 1:50 p.m., an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop, it was learned that there was a concealed handgun in the vehicle. The driver was arrested and identified as Alexander M. Satterfield, 22, of the 9000 block of Giltinan Court, Springfield. He was charged with Carrying a Concealed Weapon and released on a summons.

<cal1>Embezzlement

<cal2>3924 Old Lee Highway / McDonalds. On June 19, at 3:30 p.m., an employee of the business stole the money from the days business. A manager of the store reported that a substantial amount of money had been stolen from the business after she found that they money was not placed in the business safe. The Patrol Division is continuing to investigate the case.

<cal1>Larceny

<cal2>3170 Draper Drive / Ziebart Auto. Sometime between June 17 and June 18, unknown person(s) gained entry into a vehicle and stole the car stereo, golf clubs and two wheels.  The unknown suspect(s) also damaged a vehicle parked next to this one.

9570 Main Street / Giant Food. On June 18, between 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., unknown person(s) stole a wallet from a purse that was left unattended in a shopping cart.

11200 Main Street / Giant Food. On June 18, between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m., unknown person(s) stole a wallet from a purse left unattended in a shopping cart.

11175 Lee Highway / Kamp Washington Shell. On June 18, at 4:10 p.m., a male pumped gasoline into a vehicle and then left without paying.

11094 Lee Highway / East-West Interiors. On June 16, between 3 p.m. and 3:15 p.m., two females came into the business. As one of the females distracted an employee, the other female stole a camera and checks from the business.  When the victim was canceling the checks, she found that someone was attempting to cash one of the checks in Prince William County. The Patrol Division is continuing to investigate the case.

3413 Pickett Road / Thaiss Park. On June 19, between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m., unknown person(s) broke out a window on a vehicle and stole a purse from inside.

10570 Main St. / Ballard Realty. Sometime between June 18 and June 20, unknown person(s) stole a computer and router from the business.

10336 Layton Hall Drive / Layton Hall Apartments. Sometime between June 19 and June 20, unknown person(s) gained entry into a vehicle and stole the car stereo face plate, music CDs and a day planner.

9471 Arlington Blvd. / Fox Croft Condominiums. Sometime between June 20 and June 21, unknown person(s) stole loose change from the vehicle. The convertible top was also damaged during the theft.

9471 Arlington Blvd. / Fox Croft Condominiums. Sometime between June 20 and June 21, unknown person(s) entered a vehicle parked in the complex and ransacked the vehicle.

9610 Lee Highway / Farrish of Fairfax. On June 21, an employee reported that several dealer tags were missing from the business.

9445 Arlington Blvd. / Fox Croft Condominiums. Sometime between June 20 and June 21, unknown person(s) stole loose change from the vehicle parked at the complex.

9605 Lee Highway / Shell. On June 21 around 2:15 p.m., unknown person(s) pumped gasoline into a vehicle and then left without paying.

3600 block of Jermantown Road. Sometime between June 18 and June 21, unknown person(s) stole two Diesel fuel tanks that had been disconnected from the home and placed next to it.

9470 Arlington Blvd. / Staples. On June 21, at 7:15 p.m., a male came into the business and inquired about some computer software. When the employee left the area to retrieve the products from the rear of the store, the suspect picked up a laser printer and exited the store without paying for the printer. The Patrol Division is investigating the case.

9469 Arlington Blvd. / Foxcroft Colonies. Sometime between June 20 and June 21, unknown person(s) broke into a vehicle while it was parked in front of the residence and stole several items.

10708 Lee Highway / Petco. On June 22, between 8 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., unknown person(s) stole money from the safe deposit box in the store.

<cal1>Stolen Auto

<cal2>3400 block of Country Hill Drive. Sometime between June 20 and June 21, unknown person(s) stole a green 2000 Honda Accord from the residence. The Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the case.

<cal1>Suspicious Event

<cal2>9852 Fairfax Square / Fairfax Square Apartments. On June 24, at 3:05 a.m., the victim was awaken by her barking dog. When she looked around, she observed an unknown subject shining a flashlight into her bedroom window. Officers checked the area, but no one was located.

<cal1>Throw a Missile at a Moving Vehicle

<cal2>Main Street & Truro Episcopal Church. On June 23, around 12:06 a.m., officers responded to a report of an object being thrown at a moving vehicle. Officers spoke to the victim who reported that as he was driving on Main Street, someone threw an object at his vehicle. Upon further investigation, it was found that the unknown person(s) threw mud at the vehicle as it passed by.

<cal1>Unauthorized Use of Vehicle

<cal2>9493 Arlington Blvd. / Fox Croft Condominiums. Sometime between June 20 and June 21, unknown person(s) moved the victims brown 1991 Honda from where it was parked on one end of the complex to the other end of the complex.

<cal1>Unlawful Entry

<cal2>9865 Lee Highway / Anchorage Motel. On June 21, around 6:25 a.m., the manager of the motel was showing a customer a motel room when he found that the door was locked. As he opened the door, he found that the security chain was on. The manager then observed a black male asleep on the bed and yelled for the suspect to open the door. The suspect then fled out a bathroom window and left the area. There is no suspect at this time.

<cal1>Vandalism

<cal2>9471 Arlington Blvd. / Fox Croft Condominiums. Sometime between June 20 and June 21, unknown person(s) damaged the convertible top on a vehicle parked at the complex.

3900 block of Fairfax Square. Sometime between June 21 and June 22, unknown person(s) scratched the paint on a vehicle parked at a residence.

9687 Lee Highway / Fast Eddies. On June 25, between 1:30 a.m. and 2:50 a.m., unknown person(s) damaged a vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot of the business by flattening two tires and scratching the paint of the drivers door.

10731 West Drive / Suburbia West Apartments. Sometime between June 18 and June 19, unknown person(s) threw an unknown gel on a vehicle causing damage to the paint.
