NYC Tour. The Town of Vienna sponsors a day trip to New York and a viewing of the Broadway production, "Wicked," a depiction of the life of one-time best friends, the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch of the "Wizard of Oz." Show begins at 2 p.m. at the Gershwin Theater. A bus departs from the Vienna Community Center at 7 a.m. and returns around midnight. Time before and after the show is spent touring the big apple. Cost is $85 for residents and $106 for non-residents, and the trip is open all people ages 8 and up. The Vienna Community Center is located at 120 Cherry St., S.E., Vienna. Yard Sale. The Dunn Loring Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department sponsors its annual yard sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The sale takes place inside the Community Hall of the department, 2148 Gallows Road in Dunn Loring.
