Crime Notes

The following incidents were reported by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

ROBBERY:

40 block of Essex Sq., Sterling. On May 29 a 22-year-old Sterling man told authorities he was assaulted and robbed by a group of black males the night before, May 28, between 10:30 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. The group removed cash from the victim.

BURGLARY:

18900 block of Upper Belmont Pl., Ashburn. On May 25 between 7 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., unknown subject(s) entered a hotel room and removed an undisclosed amount of cash.

43420 block of Valley Vista La., Chantilly. Between 7:30 a.m. May 26 and 5 p.m. May 31, unknown subject(s) attempted to enter a residence through a window, a screen was removed and damaged in the incident.

20000 block of Ashbrook Pl., Ashburn. On May 30 shortly before 9:30 p.m., unknown subject(s) entered a gym and removed various vitamins. Damage occurred to a plate glass window during the incident. Value was $2,116.

44030 block of Ferncliff Terr., Ashburn. On June 2 between 7:35 a.m. and 4:54 p.m., unknown subject(s) entered a residence and removed two video game systems and various games. The subject(s) appeared to have gained entry through a back door; there was no sign of forced entry. Value was $350.

POCKET-PICKING:

47100 block of Community Plaza, Sterling. At noon May 19, an unknown subject removed a wallet and keys from a 30-year-old Sterling female who was grocery shopping. Value was $245.

THEFT FROM A MOTOR VEHICLE:

46900 block of Harry Byrd Hwy., Sterling. On May 27 at 3 p.m., unknown subject(s) removed tools from the rear of a vehicle. Value was $710.

46200 block of Cranston St. Sterling. On May 28 at 9:30 p.m.,

unknown subject(s) removed tools from the rear of a truck. Value was $625.

110 block of Oakgrove Rd., Sterling. Between 4:30 p.m. May 28 and 9 a.m. May 29, unknown subject(s) removed several after market products from a vehicle. Value was $685.

25200 block of Planting Field Dr., South Riding. On May 29 between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m., unknown subject(s) entered an unsecured garage and removed a laptop from an unlocked vehicle.

43200 block of Brookford Sq., Ashburn. Between 1 p.m. May 29 and 11:45 a.m. May 30, unknown subject(s) entered a vehicle and removed a car CD stereo. Value was $475.

20060 block of Coltsfoot Terr., Ashburn. Between 11 a.m. May 29 and 10:30 a.m. May 31, unknown subject(s) entered a vehicle, damaging a door lock, and removed tools. Value was $770.

20300 block of Charter Oak Dr. , Ashburn. Between 8 p.m. June 1 and 9 a.m. June 2, unknown subject(s) entered an unlocked vehicle and removed a laptop computer and a portable CD player. Value was $7,050.

THEFT FROM A BUILDING:

22000 block of Loudoun County Pkwy., Ashburn. Between 11 p.m. May 31 and 8 a.m. June 1, unknown subject(s) removed a laptop from an office. Value was $3,000.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY:

Upper Meadow & Parkers Ridge, Leesburg. Between 2:30 p.m May 22 and 6:30 a.m. May 24, unknown subject(s) damaged and vandalized several construction vehicles. Value was $950.

1600 block of E. Madison Ct., Sterling. Between 8:30 p.m. May 27 and 6 a.m. May 28, unknown subject(s) spray painted the side and rear of a vehicle. Value was $200.

46500 block of River Meadows Terr., Potomac Falls. At 8:10 a.m. May 29, unknown subject(s) damaged the driver side window of a vehicle. Value was $200.

Selden Ct., Sterling. At 4:26 p.m. May 29, unknown subject(s) damaged the front grill of a vehicle. Value was $200.

Tamarark Ridge Sq., Sterling. Between 11 p.m. May 30 and 8 a.m. May 31, unknown subject(s) damaged tires on tires of two vehicles. Value was $200.

Oakgrove Rd./Hall Rd., Sterling. At midnight May 30, unknown subject(s) spray painted graffiti on a construction trailer and a jersey wall. Value was $1100.

46970 block of Community Plaza, Sterling. Between 6 p.m. May 31 and 5:30 p.m. June 1, unknown subject(s) damaged the rear window of a vehicle. Value was $300.

20400 block of Riverbend Sq., Sterling. On May 31 between 6 and 9:49 p.m., unknown subject(s) damaged a passenger side window of a vehicle. Value was $200.

22400 block of Randolph Dr., Sterling. On June 2 between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m., unknown subject(s) entered a vehicle and attempted to remove the radio. The driver's side door lock was damaged. Value was $500.

42900 block of Chesterton St.. Ashburn. Between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. June 2, unknown subject(s) damaged a rear window of a vehicle that was parked along the roadway. Value was $250.

20900 block of Whitfield Pl., Potomac Falls On June 3 at 2:26 p.m., unknown subject(s) damaged the window of a vehicle.
