The following incidents were reported by the Herndon Police Department:

ASSAULT

700 block of Cordell Way. On June 2 at 9:05 p.m., Shankiya Graybey, a 25-year-old female of Herndon, was arrested for assault. The victim received minor injuries. Graybey was transported to Fairfax County ADC and held on a $250 bond.

1200 block of Elden Street. On June 4 at 8:31 a.m., the complainant stated a Hispanic male, 5’10”-6’0, 200 pounds, grabbed her and a struggle ensued. During the struggle she was cut multiple times on her upper arms. The victim sustained minor injuries but never saw a weapon.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

600 block of Dulles Park Court. On May 31 at 7:46 a.m., Graffiti was spray painted on a building.

700 block of Lynn Street. On May 31 at 8:02 a.m., graffiti was scratched into the paint on the side of the caboose.

1200 block of Alabama Drive. On June 1 at 8 a.m., a front window of a home was broken.

600 block of Center Street. On June 2 at 9:30 a.m., a bundle of telephone wires were cut at a business.

1100 block of Shannon Place. On June 3 at 8:46 p.m., graffiti was written on a fence in black ink.

1200 block of Bond Street. On June 5 at 12:29 a.m., four tires were slashed and several windows were shattered on a vehicle. This case is active.

600 block of Elden Street. On June 5 at 3:44 p.m., the passenger’s side of a vehicle was scratched.

DRUG/NARCOTICS VIOLATION

400 block of Herndon Parkway. On June 6 at 1:34 a.m., a 17-year-old Herndon resident was taken into custody for possession of marijuana. The subject was released into his mother’s custody. Petitions will be obtained at a later date.

1200 block of Elden Street. On June 6 at 3:56 a.m., Michael Scott Chambers, 20, of Herndon, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC for possession of marijuana and held on a $500 bond.

LARCENY

700 block of Tamani Drive. On May 31 at 8:30 a.m., an AM/FM CD player was removed from a vehicle.

400 block of Elden Street. On June 2 at 1:26 p.m., two 17-year-old females of Sterling were taken into custody for shoplifting. The subjects were released into a guardian’s care. Petitions will be obtained at a later date.

1200 block of Elden Street. On June 2 at 3:15 p.m., Victoria Marina Corrales, 33, of Herndon, was issued a summons for shoplifting.

400 block of Elden Street. On June 2 at 9:58 p.m., a cellular phone and $300 in cash were removed from a locker in a business.

500 block of Florida Avenue. On June 3 at 8 a.m., a stereo was removed from a vehicle.

700 block of Center Street. At noon June 3, a license plate was removed from a trailer that was parked behind a business.

400 block of Arkansas Avenue. On June 3 at 3:11 p.m., four rims and tires, a driver’s side mirror, and a car jack were removed from a vehicle.

400 block of Elden Street. On June 4 at 12:15 a.m., the front and rear plates were removed from a vehicle.

600 block of Worchester Street. On June 4 at 5:29 p.m., a moped was removed from inside a fenced in area in the backyard.

1100 block of Treeside Lane. On June 6 at 12:22 p.m., a Craftsman toolbox filled with tools was removed from a vehicle.

Station Street/Elden Street. On June 6 at 3:15 p.m., a wallet containing $45 in cash was stolen from a purse.

OTHER VIOLATIONS

700 block of Lynn Street. On June 2 at 11:05 a.m., Heather Walker, a 21-year-old female of Herndon, was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Fairfax County.

1100 block of Elden Street. At noon June 3, Jose Evelio Rivera Lainez, 29, of no fixed address, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC for trespassing.

400 block of Virginia Avenue. On June 6 at 3:56 a.m., a noise violation was reported and a verbal warning issued.

700 block of Campbell Way. On June 6 at 8:01 p.m., Leonardo Joel Castro, 19, of Herndon, was arrested for an outstanding warrant for disorderly conduct and transported to Fairfax County ADC where he was held on a $500 bond.

DWI ARRESTS

800 block of Elden Street. On May 31 at 1:05 a.m., Ever Rene Fuentes, 19, of Reston, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC and held on a $6,000 bond.

1100 block of Elden Street On May 31 at 2:09 a.m., Clint Troy Allison, 27, of Herndon, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC and held on a $1,000 bond.

Herndon Parkway/Elden Street. On May 31 at 2:45 a.m., Raul Portilla Sosa, 38, of Herndon, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC and held on a $1,500 bond.

DRUNK IN PUBLIC ARRESTS

500 block of Legacy Pride Drive. On May 31 at 1:48 a.m., Douglas Gomez Nolasco, 27, of Herndon, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC.

Monroe Street/Madison Street. On June 1 at 4:39 p.m., Roberto Nolasco Pineda, 26, of no fixed address, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC.

1200 block of Elden Street. On June 3 at 11:44 a.m., Marco Hernandez, 30, of no fixed address, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC.

900 block of Locust Street. On June 3 at 7:27 p.m., Mario Martinez Lopez, 41, of no fixed address, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC.

Station Street/Lynn Street On June 5 at 5:30 p.m., Jose Gerberth Henriquez Henriquez, 26 of Herndon, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC.

700 block of Campbell Way. On June 6 at 3:08 p.m., Jose Douglas Yanez, 24, of Reston, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC.

LIQUOR LAW VIOLATIONS

Center Street/Elden Street. On June 4 at 6:30 p.m., a male juvenile of Herndon was arrested for underage possession of alcohol and obstruction of justice. He was transported to the Fairfax County JDC where a detention order was issued.
