<cal2>Cox Communications will present its second annual Cox Movies Under the Moon, a free summertime outdoor film festival benefiting Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children and Special Love/Camp Fantastic. The nine-day event will feature popular movies each night, from Friday, July 16 through Saturday, July 24. Scheduled to take place at George Mason University's Robinson Football Field. Movies will begin each night at sundown (approximately 8:30 p.m.). This year's vendors will include Red, Hot & Blue, Domino's and Baja Fresh.

<cal2>Children and adults of all ages are invited to participate in a free, fun and educational paper airplane contest sponsored by the USS Athena on Sunday, July 25 at 2 p.m. at Chantilly Library, 4000 Stringfellow Road, Chantilly. The contest begins with an age-appropriate discussion of aerodynamics and how it applies to paper airplane design. Participants will be given materials to make their planes in the time allotted. Planes will be judged in several categories ranging from aesthetics to function and prizes awarded.

The USS Athena is a Northern Virginia science fiction and community service organization that has been in existence since 1995 and sponsors several educational events annually.
