Kerrie Maria Lennon was married on Oct. 11, 2003 to Alexander Whiting Scofield. Reverends Andrew Demotsos and Charles L. Mihos were the celebrants of the double-ring ceremony at Saint Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church in Peabody, Massachusetts. The reception was held at Jimmy’s Allenhurst in Danvers, Mass.
Mrs. Scofield is a senior event manager at the Renaissance Washington, DC Hotel. She is a graduate of Lynnfield High School in Lynnfield, Mass. and American University. She is the daughter of Joseph and Steliane Lennon of Lynnfield, Mass., and the granddaughter of Catherine Sabanty, also of Lynnfield, the late Charles Sabanty of Lynn, Mass., and the late Thomas and
Catherine Lennon of Brookline, Mass.
Mr. Scofield is the sports editor at the Potomac Almanac in Potomac, Maryland. He graduated from Lincoln-Sudbury High School in Sudbury, Mass., and graduated summa cum laude from Villanova University in Villanova, Pa. He is the son of Frank and Nancy Scofield of Monument Beach, Mass., and the grandson of Margaret Walsh and the late John M. Walsh of Vero Beach, Fla., and the late Francis and Jessie Scofield of Levittown, N.Y.
Stephanie Glynos was Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Boger, Amy Georgatsos, Stefanie Gerard, Sally Hunnicutt and Ashley Scofield-Goss, sister of the groom. Adam Kurth served as Best Man. Dean Lennon, brother of the bride, was the Koumbaro. Groomsmen were Eric Begg, Ian Begg, Ryan Kelly and Jason Poshkus.
Following a honeymoon in Sonoma, Calif. and Maui, Hawaii, the couple now resides in Arlington, Va.
