The following Vienna students enrolled in the College of Science at Virginia Tech were named to the dean’s list for the Fall 2003 semester:

Michael Young, a senior majoring in computer science; Matt Allen, a senior majoring in marketing.

Brian Bell, a senior majoring in biology; Jennifer Bentley, a sophomore majoring in psychology; Christopher Black, a senior majoring in finance, insurance and business law; Ray-yu Chang, a sophomore majoring in interdisciplinary studies; Anupe Cheriathundam, a senior majoring in industrial and systems engineering; Lauren Dellinger, a senior majoring in political science; Joseph DeVylder, a junior majoring in architecture; Megan Flaherty, a sophomore majoring in human development; Matthew Harry, a sophomore majoring in management.

Joseph Kull, a senior majoring in accounting and information systems; Teresa Meoni, a freshman majoring in international studies; Kristen Misleh, a senior majoring in communication; Susan Moy, a senior majoring in mathematics; Daniel Narayan, a senior majoring in mining and minerals engineering; Amber Nutter, a senior majoring in human development; Matthew Petak, a sophomore majoring in computer science; Brittany Rossmeier, a freshman majoring in management; Andrea Schline, a junior majoring in management.

Sasha Vujcic, a junior majoring in electrical and computer engineering; Jeffrey Wainwright, a junior majoring in finance, insurance and business law; Karen Wallace, a senior majoring in political science; Thomas Zimmerman, a freshman majoring in computer science.

To qualify for the dean’s list, students must attempt at least 12 credit hours graded on the A-F option and earn a 3.4 grade point average on a 4.0 scale during the semester.

Sophomore Sarah Bryan Perry of Vienna has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester 2003 at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C. She achieved this honor with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Lindsay Hochman has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at the University of Virginia (UVA). She plays wing position on the first line for the UVA Womans Ice Hockey Team. Hochman is the daughter of Kathy and Joel Hochman of Oakton and a 2003 graduate of James Madison High School.

Christopher O'Connell of Fairfax was placed on the dean's list for the 2003 fall semester at George Mason University. O'Connell is a junior majoring in computer science and a 2002 graduate of Oakton High School.

Ellen K. Fulco, a junior majoring in English at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, has been named to the merit list for the first semester of the 2003-2004 academic year. She achieved this honor with a grade point average of at least 3.45. Fulco is a graduate of James Madison High and the daughter of Bruce and Judith Fulco.

Catherine Phillips, a senior majoring in elementary education at Pittsburg State University, has qualified for the all-A scholarship honors list. She completed at least 12 semester hours, received no grade below an "A" in all credit course work and no grade of "I" in any course during the semester.

Esther Scott, a senior majoring in psychology at Pittsburg State University, has qualified for the all-A scholarship honors list. She completed at least 12 semester hours, received no grade below an "A" in all credit course work and no grade of "I" in any course during the semester.

Vienna resident Kelley Hubbell, a graduate of James Madison High, has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at The College of Wooster in Cleveland, Ohio. A junior, Hubbell achieved this distinction with a grade point average of 3.5 or above.
