Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage announced that their Reston/Town Center office had significant across the board increases in total sales, total sales volume and total listings.
December total sales increased 16.28 percent, total sales volume increased 59.25 percent and total listings increased 27 percent in comparison to the same figures in November 2002.
The Northern Virginia Association of Realtors (NVAR) held ceremonies to install its 2004 officers and directors on Dec. 10 at the Hyatt Regency Reston.

Coldwell Banker Residential is offering consumers a method to determine how much their Reston home would cost in other markets. The annual Home Price Comparison Index offers comparison to similar homes in typical, middle-management transferee neighborhoods in 317 markets across the country and Canada.

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage announces its top producers for the month of November. In the Reston office at 11890 Sunrise Valley Drive, Evan Johnson was top producer; in the Reston office at 1801 Reston Parkway, top producer was Kitty Bernard.

Total sales increased 40.22 percent, total sales volume increased 74 percent and total listings increased 24 percent in comparison to the same figures in November 2002.
The Reston Study Center has won a 2003 Land Conservation Award sponsored by the Fairfax County Department of Public Works and Environmental Services, in cooperation with the Northern Virginia Soil and Water Conservation District and the Fairfax County Tree Commission. The award was in the category "Small Commercial." Al Zywar of Herman Stewart Construction Company was recognized for the project, receiving the award, "Outstanding Site Superintendent." Herman Stewart Construction also won "Outstanding Contractor."
Receiving the award for Tree Preservation went to 1925 Isaac Newton Square. The engineer on that project was VIKA, landscape architect was Thomas James & Assoc. and the tree care professional was The Care of Trees.
The awards honor "developers, designers, site superintendents and contractors whose projects best demonstrate excellence in erosion and sediment control design and implementation or a commitment to tree preservation and replacement in Fairfax County."
