On Sunday, Feb. 8, at 11 a.m., the Northern Virginia Ethical Society hosts a free talk with Fred Edwords, who will discuss "The Evolution of Creationism." Edwords is a leading voice in the Humanist community and editor of The Humanist magazine. His talk will summarize "the history of efforts to undercut the public school science curriculum — efforts to ban or dilute information about Darwin's discoveries." Edwords will also describe how creationism has adapted to change by "doing its own evolving."
