Senior fitness classes commencing Aug. 2 and running for 10 weeks at The Fountains at Washington House, 5100 Fillmore Avenue. Strength and Endurance Training For Seniors is an introductory class that covers the techniques and skills needed for a successful and effective strength-training program. Class will meet twice a week and begin with a warm up and conclude with a cool down session. Each participant will also receive fitness updates throughout the 10-week program to measure his or her progress. Classes will be held Monday and Wednesday, 12-1 p.m. Enrollment fee is $70.
