Assault
<lst>400 block of Pickett Lane. At 9:48 p.m. on April 14, a complainant reported an acquaintance struck her on the head and left wrist. Minor injuries to the wrist were observed. Angelo Cantarero, a 40-year-old male of Herndon, was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County ADC.
1100 block of Elden Street. At 10:11 p.m. on April 14, the complainant stated an acquaintance struck him in the head. A two-inch cut was observed on the victim's head. Osmar Melendez Guardado, a 20-year-old male of Herndon, was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County ADC where he was held on a $500 bond.
500 block of Early Fall Court. At 2:39 a.m. on April 18, a complainant reported an acquaintance choked her leaving marks on her neck. Ulises Navarette Ayala, a 23-year-old male of Herndon, was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County ADC.
200 block of Elden Street. At 10:34 p.m. on April 15, the complainant stated he was pushed. Warrant procedures advised.
<cal1>Destruction of Property
<lst>1200 block of Magnolia Lane. At 10:15 a.m. on April 12, a side mirror was damaged on one vehicle and the two passenger side doors were keyed on a second vehicle.
1200 block of Elden Street. At 3:40 a.m. on April 16, graffiti was written in black marker on a brick wall at an apartment complex.
1200 block of Elden Street. AT 4:37 a.m. on April 16, graffiti was written in green marker on the laundry room door in an apartment complex.
600 block of Dulles Park Court. At 11 a.m. on April 18, three tires on a vehicle were slashed.
100 block of Spring Street. At 8:29 a.m. on April 18, three vehicles had words scratched into the paint.
1200 block of Monroe Street. At 8 p.m. on April 14, a satellite dish cord was cut.
600 block of Spring Street. At 3:18 a.m. on April 15, William Roger Wymer, a 24-year-old male of Herndon, was arrested for destruction of property. A witness observed Wymer removing election signs and throwing them into the street. Wymer was transported to the Fairfax County ADC where he was held on a $2,500 bond.
700 block of Center Street. At 6:50 a.m. on April 15, a rock was thrown through the driver's side window on a backhoe.
1300 block of Grant Street. At 7 a.m. on April 15, a windshield and hood were damaged on a parked vehicle.
800 block of Ferndale Avenue. At 2:53 p.m. on April 16, graffiti was written in black marker on a utility box.
<cal1>Drugs/Narcotic Violations
<lst>1200 block of Elden Street. At 8:51 p.m. on April 13, a complainant reported being threatened by a man. The man was identified as German E. Alvarez, a 33-year-old male of Herndon, who was arrested for drunk in public and banned from the property. A search revealed two small white plastic baggies of a powdery substance which field tested positive for cocaine. Alvarez was arrested for drunk in public and possession of cocaine, transported to the Fairfax County ADC and held on a $2,000 bond.

<lst>700 block of Van Buren Street. At 11:47 p.m. on April 16, Renne Atora-Lopez, a 32-year-old male of no fixed address was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County ADC.
1200 block of Elden Street. At 12:48 p.m. on April 15, Jose Pedro Medrano, a 48-year-old male of no fixed addressed, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC.
600 block of Dulles Park Court. At 2:48 a.m. on April 16, Eduardo O. Romero, a 46-year-old male of no fixed address, was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County ADC.
500 block of Florida Avenue. At 11:05 p.m. on April 12, a complainant reported an unknown male was sitting in his vehicle. The suspect was identified as Jose Gonzalez, a 21-year-old male of no fixed address, who was arrested for drunk in public. A search of Gonzalez revealed the vehicle owner's manual and a Minolta camera lens case, both belonging to the complainant. The complainant did not wish to press charges.

<lst>800 block of Crestview Drive. At 6:36 p.m. on April 12, a cell phone was removed from a church.
500 block of Florida Avenue. At 8:09 a.m. on April 12, a Honda Civic that was left running was removed from in front of a residence. The vehicle was later recovered.
13000 block of Worldgate Drive. At 9 p.m. on April 14, a jacket and set of keys were removed from a business.
13000 block of Worldgate Drive. At 11:21 p.m. on April 14, a cell phone was removed from a business.
1000 block of Elden Street. At 7:47 p.m. on April 13, a complainant reported he wired $1,400 to a man who claimed to have kidnapped his nephew. When the complainant asked to speak to his nephew the man requested another $800. Investigation revealed no kidnapping occurred. This case is active.
900 block of Herndon Parkway. At 9 a.m. on April 16, two laptops were removed from an office in a business. There were no signs of forced entry.
900 block of Alabama Drive. At 3:14 p.m. on April 18, a complainant reported $600 was removed from her bank account without her knowledge.
100 block of Spring Street. At 4:55 p.m. on April 13, the driver's side door speaker, stereo faceplate, two subwoofers, and an amplifier were removed from the complainant's car.
700 block of Van Buren Street. At 3:41 a.m. on April 14, an unknown man removed a pack of cigarettes from a business.
500 block of Grove Street. At 12:11 p.m. on April 16, a stereo was removed from a parked vehicle.
<cal1>Liquor Law Violations
<lst>600 block of Center Street. At 6:48 p.m. on April 17, Stephen James Hjelm, an 18-year-old male of Herndon, was arrested for driving on a revoked license. A search of his vehicle revealed over seven cases of beer. Hjelm was transported to the Fairfax County ADC where a warrant was obtained and served for underage possession of alcohol and driving on a revoked license. Hjelm was held on a $500 bond.
