Herndon High School Drama Department presents
"Into the Woods" on Friday, May 7, and Saturday, May 8, and Friday, May 14, and Saturday, May 15, at 7:30 p.m.,
"Into the Woods," by Stephen Sondheim, music and lyrics, and James Lapine, book, was the winner of Tony Awards in both 2002 for the revival and 1988 for best score and best book for a musical.
Herndon Drama students, under the direction of John Whapham, theater department and Ron Dillard, musical director, will bring this musical to the Herndon High School auditorium stage. Featuring over 25 songs, including "Hello," "Little Girl," "Agony," and "I Guess This is Goodbye," just to name a few, Herndon's choral, acting and orchestral talents will grace the local High School theater stage.
Herndon High School is located at 700 Bennett Street, Herndon.
Admission to the play for each night is $5 for students and seniors, and $10 for adults. A program is offered at a nominal fee.
