Artists Brenda and Curry Belfield, former owners of Gallery on Lake Anne and founders of GRACE, have opened Artworks Gallery and Studio at 11411G Sunset Hills Road in the Reston Business Park (next to Mayflowers and Dragonfly Antiques). Artworks Gallery features contemporary fine arts and glass media exhibits and classes for adults in the fine arts and glass media. Hours of business are Wednesday-Saturday from 1-5 p.m.

The Incubator Program of the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce has launched its fourth business plan competition designed to showcase small business innovation in Northern Virginia. To enter GrowthSPURT4, new entrepreneurs with original business concepts should submit an application form and their formal business plan to the Greater Reston Chamber by 5 p.m. on April 19. A panel of Judges will then review all applications and declare a winner at the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce’s Luncheon on May 13. The winning company will receive benefits totaling more than $10,000, including a complimentary five-month membership in the In-House Program or 10 months in the Virtual Incubator Program; 20 hours of specialized consulting services provided by business advisory professionals; Microsoft Small Business Server software; introduction to business leaders in Northern Virginia; opportunities to collaborate with other Incubator Program Companies; a profile in the Chamber's Business Update newsletter, the Incubator Program Newsletter and on

Business Focus, the Chamber's television show; special funding review session with venture capital firms; access to highly successful mentoring and educational programs; and an automatic entry into the Century Club Grubstake Breakfast applicant pool.
