Alexandria police are still searching for two men who robbed a local hotel on September 22.
The men entered the Hilton Hotel at 1767 King Street between 2 a.m. and 2:41 a.m., approached the desk clerk, showed him a gun and demanded money. The clerk gave the suspects the money that he had and they robbed a guest who walked into the lobby while the robbery was in progress.
The suspects also assaulted another hotel employee, who was later treated for minor injuries and then released.
The first suspect is described as a black male, 25 to 30, approximately 5-feet, 8 inches tall and weighing between 180 and 190 pounds.
The second suspect is described as a male, between 5-feet and 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighing around 100 pounds.

IN OTHER POLICE reports, a 34-year-old female city resident was the victim of a robbery in the 200 block of North Lee Street, September 27, at approximately 8:05 p.m.
According to police, the victim was walking on North Lee Street when a man approached her from behind and stole her purse. The suspect was riding a bicycle at the time of the robbery and escaped from the area on the bicycle.
The suspect is described as a black male, 6-feet tall and was wearing a white shirt and black pants.
Also, city police reported that at the intersection of Edison Street and Mark Drive, a 39-year-old male was attacked by two men on September 26, at approximately 11:30 p.m.
Police said the suspects approached the victim and began to punch him in the head. During the assault, the suspects went through the victim’s pockets and stole property before escaping on foot.
The suspects are described as black males who were wearing black or dark colored shirts, blue jeans and hats.
