The following incidents were reported by the Herndon Police Department:
<cal1>ASSAULT
<lst>1000 block of Elden St. At 10:44 a.m. on Sept. 11, Marcos Tulio Hernandez, a 29 year-old male of no fixed address, was observed pushing another subject. Hernandez was also found to be Intoxicated. He was arrested for Assault and Drunk in Public, and was transported to the Fairfax County ADC where he was held on a $600 bond.
400 block of Virginia Ave. At 4:27 p.m. on Sept. 12, a 10 year-old and an 11 year-old got into an altercation. The primary aggressor could not be determined. Juvenile procedures were advised.
600 block of Dulles Park Court. At 10:05 p.m. on Sept. 11, two roommates reported being assaulted by each other. The primary aggressor could not be determined. Warrant procedures were advised.
700 block of Tamarack Way. At 2:17 a.m. on Sept. 13, the complainant advised he was struck by an acquaintance. Minor scratches were observed. The subject had left prior to police arrival. Warrant procedures were advised.
1100 block of Burwick Drive. At 7:40 p.m. on Sept. 13, Katrin Brooke Craun, a 33 year-old female of Herndon, was arrested for the assault of a five year-old male acquaintance. Marks were observed on the victim. Craun was transported to the Fairfax County ADC.
900 block of Park Ave. At 9:51 p.m. on Sept. 14, Baltazar A. Cerritos Rivas, a 27 year-old male of Herndon, was arrested for Sexual Assault and Drunk in Public. He was transported to the Fairfax County ADC.
<cal1>LARCENY
<lst>1100 Whitewater Place. At 3:45 a.m. on Sept. 8, a subject was observed entering parked vehicles. Hector Ramon Urquia Melendez, a 41 year-old male of no fixed address, was found in the area. He was arrested and charged with two counts of Felony Petit Larceny, two counts of Auto Tampering, and one count of Possession of Burglarious Tools. He was transported to the Fairfax County ADC and held on a total bond of $14,500.
1200 block of Bond St. At 4:09 p.m. on Sept. 9, unknown subject(s) took an unlocked bicycle from a front porch.
13000 block of Worldgate Drive. At 7:27 p.m. on Sept. 10, unknown subject(s) used the complainantís check card to remove money from his account.
1200 block of Elden St. At 3:03 p.m. on Sept. 12, the complainant left her purse at a checkout register. Another subject took the purse. Case is active.
<cal1>DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY
<lst>1000 block of Saber Lane. At 9:45 p.m. on Sept. 13, the complainant reported a subject jumping onto the front of her vehicle and damaging the hood and windshield. The subject was located and identified as Carlos Alberto Martinez Martinez, a 23 year-old male of Herndon. He was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, and Destruction of Property. He was transported to the Fairfax County ADC.
<cal1>OTHER VIOLATIONS
<lst>1200 block of Elden St. At 7:13 p.m. on Sept. 14, a subject was located selling counterfeit compact discs. Jesus Umberto Pauada, a 28 year-old male of New York, was arrested for Unlawful Selling of Recorded Devices. He was transported to the Fairfax County ADC, and held on a $10,000 bond.
