Ben Cavanaugh, son of Katherine Koenig of Springfield and David Cavanaugh of Alexandria, earned a bachelor of arts degree in music June 15 from Lawrence University. Cavanaugh also was named to the 2002-03 dean's list at Lawrence for maintaining a minimum 3.4 grade point average. He is a 1999 graduate of Gonzaga College High School, Washington, D.C.
Scott E. Kramer of Springfield will attend University College Dublin, Ireland, for the 2003-2004 academic session as a participant in the University College Dublin/Virginia Tech Exchange Program. Scott is a 2001 graduate of West Springfield High School and is a junior at Virginia Tech, where he is majoring in biosystems engineering.
