I understand that there is an election coming up and the politicians want to get their names in front of the electorate. But vandalizing signs is both unsightly and disrespectful of Virginia’s electoral process.
Del. Tom Bolvin’s (R-43rd) signs along Telegraph Road have been removed, disfigured and trampled by unknown persons. My neighbors and I have seen individuals walking up and down the median strip near the Fairfax County Parkway actually taking down a number of Bolvin’s signs.
I know that this is a tight race, but this kind of behavior is not one that should be condoned by any candidate. Anyone who would do this sort of behavior is not someone I would want supporting my interests in Virginia’s state house.
