Nearly 700 people turned out to run along the cart path at Herndon Centennial Golf Course for the annual Turkey Trot 5K.
Saturday's event also collected canned goods for LINK, which were part of the entrance fee.
The top males finishers were Josh Horton, 24, of Vienna, with a time of 15 minutes, 58 seconds, followed by Rick Roundtree, 25, in 16:09 and Danny Gordon, 17, in 17:23.
Lou Hohkea, 26, of Herndon, led the women with a time of 19:33, followed by Leslie Minnix-Wolfe, 42, in 20:51 and Samantha Kirby, 35, in 21:18.
