Ricardo Bolanos of Weichert, Realtors’ Springfield office has been honored for generating the most resales in the region in August. The region consists of offices located throughout Northern Virginia.
The Long & Foster Companies reported September 2003 total sales of $3.4 billion for the month, an increase of 21 percent over September 2002. It was the best September in the firm’s 35-year history, up 30 percent year-to-date over last year’s record levels.
The September numbers include: Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc. with sales of $2.3 billion on 8,498 property transactions, an increase of 23 percent over the previous year’s September figures; Prosperity Mortgage, the firm’s mortgage affiliate, reported $221,823,613 in volume of business, a decrease of 35 percent over the previous year’s September figures, due to the slowdown in refinancing; and Long & Foster insurance, $228,042,500, up 11 percent. Company affiliate Mid-States Title posted numbers of $675,729,704 for the month, up 69 percent over the previous September. The firm’s three affiliates together posted an a year-to-date increase of 42 percent.
The Burke/Fairfax Station Long & Foster office was number one in September sales volume.
Steve Deleyiannis was the top producer for September at the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage's Springfield office.
David Billups was honored for generating the most resale revenue units and the most listings sold in the Weichert, Realtors' Springfield office during the month of September. Ricardo Bolanos was honored for generating the highest dollar volume. Steven Frishmuth was recognized as the top sales associate and Joyce Talley was recognized as the top listor.
Members of The Northern Virginia Association of Realtors recently elected the following individuals to NVAR's 2004 Board of Directors: Mary J. Anthony, Mary Bayat, Thomas Donegan, Margaret Ireland, Luis A. Lama and Brad Wisley. Election results were announced at NVAR's Annual Meeting after its Convention and Trade Show, on Oct. 23, at the McLean Hilton.
