POLICE SEEK MAN IN SEXUAL ASSAULTS
Detectives from the Arlington police Special Victims Unit of the Arlington County Police Department are looking for a man in connection with several sexual assaults in and around Ballston. The first incident occurred in mid-April; the most recent incident occurred this past weekend.
The subject is described as a Hispanic male, 18-25 years old, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 120-140 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion. A composite sketch of the subject was developed with information provided by witnesses.

Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of this subject. Callers to Crime Solvers remain anonymous and do not need to testify in court.
BUS ACCIDENT LEAVES WOMAN DEAD
Shortly before 10 a.m. last Tuesday, Arlington police say, a commuter bus struck and killed Mary Anne O?Neill, of Arlington, at the intersection of North Nash Street and Lee Highway.
A preliminary police investigation determined that the O?Neill, 72, was crossing Lee Highway when she was struck by the bus, as it turned left from southbound Nash onto eastbound Lee Highway. O?Neill was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police identified the driver of the bus as 46-year-old William Larry Smith of Washington, D.C. The owner of the bus is Bethany Limousine & Buses, Inc.
No charges have been filed at this time. Investigation of the accident is ongoing, and on Tuesday morning, police distributed fliers at the intersection from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., asking any witnesses to the accident to contact the police department.
