Incumbent Maud Robinson won another two-year term in Vienna's annual Town Council Election held May 6.
Two other candidates, George Lovelace and Sydney Verinder, also won seats on the Council. Lovelace is a former Vienna councilman and state delegate, and Verinder is chair of Vienna's Planning Commission.
1,780 registered voters voted in this election, out of 9,722 total registered voters in Vienna. The higher turnout of 18.3 percent was due in part to the number of candidates running in this year's race. Six candidates competed for three spots.
