The Junior Class Girls defeated the Seniors 8-0 in the annual Junior-Senior Powderpuff Football game that was held on the evening of April 28. The Junior and Senior Guys cheered the ladies on while sporting cheerleading uniforms and performing choreographed dances. Many students and family members came out to watch the event.
The Student Council Association elections for next year were held on April 28. Runners gave their speeches over the intercom as students made their votes. Winners were: Historian- Jessica Koss, Treasurer- Phuong Tran-Le, Secretary- Sophia Jones, Vice President- Lynne Ellison, and President- Alyssa Yassine.
Rachel Bingaman, Ashley Bingaman, Leslie Doscotch, Emily Brun, Laura Eddy, Jeff Wortman, and Kyle Schrotel all scored a superior rating on either their solo or ensemble performance at the District 16 Solo and Ensemble Festival at Seneca Ridge Middle School on April 26.
The Park View Drama Department produced the play, "Cinderella" on May 2, 3, and 4.
Park View's "It's Academic" Team brought home a 1st place trophy for winning in the District Competition.
Spring Sports Teams were successful in their games over the course of the week. The Girl's Lacrosse Team defeated Potomac Falls 14-7 on April 29 with 10 players scoring goals. The Varsity Softball Team defeated Loudoun County 2-0 on April 30. Sophomore Julia Dominguez and Senior Jeanine Gargiulo each hit a double to bring in the runs. Senior Kari Morrison only allowed two hits, while striking out eight batters.
