<lst>The following incidents were reported to the Franconia Station of the Fairfax County Police Department.
<cal1>ROBBERY
<cal2>General Washington Drive 5700 block - A Bealton man, 41, was working in his office when a man entered, brandished a handgun and demanded money. The victim relinquished his cash then began struggling with the suspect. The suspect struck the victim in the head with the gun during the struggle. The victim was able to get away and call for help. The suspect fled in a light-colored camper, which later was found to have been stolen from another nearby business. The victim was treated at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital for a head laceration.
Lewis Chapel Circle 7800 block - On March 17, at 11:40 p.m., a Fairfax area man, 29, parked his truck and a man opened the passenger's side door and pointed a handgun at him. The armed man announced a robbery and took the victim's cash and cellular telephone. The suspect was described as black, in his 20s, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
Ridge View Drive 5900 block - On March 18, at 11:55 p.m., an Alexandria area man, 39, got out of his car and was walking to his house when two men ran at him from some bushes at the side of his home. One man pointed a sawed-off shotgun at the victim and demanded the bags he was carrying. The suspect grabbed the bags from the victim and struck him in the head with the weapon. Both suspects then fled the area in a white Nissan Maxima. The victim refused rescue for a cut on his head. The armed suspect was described as black, in his late 20s, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighed 170 pounds. He was wearing a white shirt and jeans. There is no description of the second suspect.
