<lst>The following incidents were reported by the Herndon Police Department:
<cal1>ROBBERY
<lst>100 block of Herndon Parkway. At 12:43 a.m. on March 16, a man was walking home from work and was confronted by three black males. Two of the subjects displayed knives while the third took his money and keys. The subjects then left the area headed west on Herndon Parkway.
<cal1>ASSAULT
<lst>600 block of Alabama Drive. At 12:45 p.m. on March 11, the complainant was approached by a subject in reference to their
driving behavior. The complainant was pushed in the back and
the subject left the area. Case Active.
1000 block of Knight Lane. At 3:50 p.m. on March 12, two subject(s) reported being assault by each other. A primary aggressor could not be determined.
1100 block of Elden St. At 6:36 p.m. on March 13, Edward Oscar Romero, a 45 year-old male of Herndon, was arrested for Assault on a Police Officer, and Drunk in Public and turned over to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. Romero kicked an Officer while under arrest. The Officer had minor injuries. Romero was held on a $5,000 bond for the Assault and released on his signature for the Drunk in Public charge.
300 block of Elden St. At 9:51 a.m. on March 10, a subject entered the business and exposed himself to an employee. He then reached out and grabbed the employee’s wrist. After the employee resisted the subject left the scene. The employee was unharmed.
900 block of Park Ave. At 10:27 a.m. on March 16, two acquaintances reported striking each other. The primary aggressor could not be determined. Warrant procedures were advised. Minor injuries observed on both subjects.

<lst>700 block of Palmer Drive. At 12 p.m. on March 9, unknown subject(s) punctured a tire on a vehicle.
600 block of Center St. At 11:23 a.m. on March 10, unknown subject(s) spray painted graffiti on a staircase.
1200 block of Elden St. At 9:56 p.m. on March 10, unknown subject(s) spray painted graffiti on the rear of the building.
600 block of Center St. At 9:27 a.m. on March 13, unknown subject(s) wrote graffiti on a stairway.
1110 Herndon Parkway. At 5:54 p.m. on March 13, unknown subject(s) wrote graffiti on a brick enclosure.
500 block of Florida Ave. At 6:55 p.m. on March 15, unknown subject(s) scratched a vehicle over the roof, hood and both front fenders.
1100 block of Cypress Tree Place. At 3:53 p.m. on March 16, unknown subject(s) spray painted graffiti on the side of the
building.
800 block of Ferndale Ave. At 3:17 p.m. on March 10, unknown subject(s) spray painted graffiti on an outside wall.
800 block of Ferndale Ave. At 9:06 a.m. on March 13, unknown subject(s) wrote graffiti on a bathroom stall.
<cal1>LARCENY
<lst>300 block of Spring St. At 12:33 p.m. on March 11, unknown subject(s) removed a license plate from a vehicle and damaged a door handle.
1300 Dominion Ridge Lane. At 5:31 p.m. on March 14, unknown subject(s) used the complainant’s check card number for unauthorized purchases.
300 block of Herndon Parkway. At 9:53 a.m. on March 16, unknown subject(s) took a laptop computer from the rear of the
business.
800 block of Ferndale Ave. At 5:23 p.m. on March 10, unknown subject(s) removed an unsecured “Go-Ped” from outside of the building. The “Go-Ped” is described as black over purple.
800 block of Ferndale Ave. At 7:19 a.m. on March 12, unknown subject(s) cash from vending machines.
600 block of Elden St. At 3:13 p.m. on March 14, a 15 year-old Herndon juvenile was caught shoplifting cigars and
was turned over to their grandfather.
800 block of Grace St. At 3:27 p.m. on March 14, unknown subject(s) removed the license plates from a vehicle.
700 block of Grace St. At 6:14 a.m. on March 16, while on patrol an officer found ten vehicles with broken windows. Tools were removed from two of the vehicles. Case Active
1100 block of Herndon Parkway. At 6:13 p.m. on March 10, unknown subject(s) removed the license plates from a vehicle.
600 block of Center St. At 2:24 p.m. on March 11, unknown subject(s) removed a front license plate from a vehicle.
1000 block of Elden St. At 3:52 p.m. on March 12, unknown subject(s) removed 10 baskets from the business over the past month.
1200 block of Elden St. At 6:24 p.m. on March 13, Jose Manuel Mejia Gallardo, a 25 year-old male of Herndon, was arrested for Shoplifting and turned over to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.He was held on a $1,000 bond.
Holly Court/Campbell Way. At 8:43 p.m. on March 13, unknown subject(s) removed a front license plate from a vehicle.
1100 block of Elden St. At 9:28 a.m. on March 14, unknown subject(s) removed 26 DSX fanny rings from a building.
<cal1>FRAUD
<lst>1000 block of Elden St. At 8:47 p.m. on March 10, subject(s) opened a bank account in the name of another person.
<cal1>THROWING OBJECT AT VEHICLE
<lst>1100 block of Elden St. At 3:53 p.m. on March 16, the complainant advised while he was stopped a traffic light he heard a subject shout something at which time his rear window was shattered by an unknown object.
<cal1>LIQUOR LAW VIOLATIONS
<lst>900 block of Ferndale Ave. At 1:08 a.m. on March 14, officers responded to a residence for a noise violation. A17 year-old juvenile of Herndon was located on the premises in
possession of an alcoholic beverage.The juvenile was turned
over to their parent.
<cal1>DWI ARRESTS
<lst>800 block of Station St. At 11:02 p.m. on March 14, Michael Scott Schepers, a 34 year-old of Reston, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and turned over to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
600 block of Herndon Parkway. At 11:02 p.m. on March 15, Julio Navarro, a 27 year-old male of Herndon, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and turned over to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
<cal1>DRUNK IN PUBLIC
<lst>1110 Elden St. At 4:41 p.m. on March 10, Fidel Sanchez Ramirez, a 50 year-old male of no fixed address, was arrested for Drunk in Public and turned over to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
600 block of Center St. At 4:51 p.m. on March 14, Fidel Sanchez Ramirez, a 50 year-old male of no fixed address,
was arrested for Drunk in Public and turned over to the Alcohol
Detoxification Center.
1100 block of Elden St. At 2:52 p.m. on March 16, Mariano Rubio, a 28 year-old male of Manassas, William Castillo, a 29 year-old male with no fixed address, and Hector Rocha a 27 year-old male with no fixed address, were arrested for Drunk in Public and turned over to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
1000 block of Elden St. At 10:09 p.m. on March 16, Reynaldo L. Rodriguez, a 35 year-old male of Herndon, was
arrested for Drunk in Public and turned over to the Fairfax County
Adult Detention Center.
900 block of Elden St. At 9:42 p.m. on March 14, Fernando Ayala, a 38 year-old male with no fixed address, was
arrested for Drunk in Public and turned over to the Fairfax County
Adult Detention Center.
<cal1>DRINKING IN PUBLIC
<lst>1000 block of Alabama Drive. At 10:59 p.m. on March 16, an Officer on patrol observed a subject drinking a beer in public. Lawrence Neal Jr., a 30 year-old of Vienna, was charged with Drinking in Public and released on a summons.
