BURGLARY/ASSAULT
<lst>11000 block of Winterthur Lane. A Reston area woman, 25, entered her bedroom and was assaulted by an unknown man. He pushed her and made several threatening statements while holding a knife in his hands. After a brief struggle, the suspect fled. The victim refused medical treatment for bruises.

<lst>North Shore Drive/Jonathan Way. A Reston area woman, 18, was walking to work when a man approached her and asked for directions. She gave the man directions and continued walking. He followed her for a short distance, then grabbed her arm, exposed himself and ran away.
