An extensive investigation led to the closure of 28 burglary cases in the Franconia and West Springfield Districts. Investigation revealed the suspects, four juveniles, were breaking into unoccupied homes and stealing property. Approximately $15,000 worth of goods was recovered. Charges were pending against the juveniles.
<cal1>MISSILES AT AN OCCUPIED VEHICLE
<cal2>Beulah Street/Grovedale Drive - Three Alexandria area boys were arrested after they threw rocks at two cars and a business. The window of one car shattered, spraying glass on the driver. The second car was dented when a rock was thrown. Investigation revealed rocks also damaged the windows of a nearby business. Two boys, aged 14 and 15, were charged with two counts of throwing missiles at an occupied vehicle and one count of destruction of property. Another boy, 15, was charged with one count of missiles at an occupied vehicle and one count of destruction of property.
<cal1>TRESPASSING
<cal2>Telegraph Road 7600 block - Christopher Pellot, 19, of Helmsdale Lane in the Alexandria area, was arrested after he walked into Hayfield High School, milled about the lobby for a few minutes, and then activated a fire alarm. Pellot fled the school on a red motorcycle. The school was evacuated and Fairfax County Fire and Rescue units responded to the false alarm. Investigation led to Pellot, and he was charged with falsely summoning the fire department, disorderly conduct, trespassing, driving on a revoked license, no registration and no insurance.

Brandon Avenue 6400 block - Movies taken from business.
Brookview Drive 5900 block - Compact discs taken from parked vehicle.
Commerce Street 7000 block - Patron failed to pay tab at restaurant.
Ellingham Circle 7000 block - Cash reported stolen.
Flanders Street 6000 block - Bicycle reported stolen.
