<lst>The following incidents were reported by the Herndon Police Department:

<cal1>ASSAULT

<lst>500 block of Florida Ave. At 11:36 p.m. on June 6, Michael Louis Hogan, a 28 year-old male of Reston, was arrested for assaulting an acquaintance, and transported to the Fairfax County ADC and held on a $500 bond.

700 block of Old Hunt Way. At 10:27 a.m. on June 4, the complainant advised an acquaintance grabbed her and threw her to the floor. A scratch and bruise were observed. George Edward Branch III, a 45 year-old male of Herndon, was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County ADC, where he was released on his signature.

100 block of Spring St. At 8:18 p.m. on June 8, a witness heard a person shout, "call the police" from a vehicle. The vehicle then left the area onto the Fairfax County Parkway. Fairfax County officers found the vehicle and a Herndon Officer responded to the scene. Both subjects advised the other had struck them first. A primary aggressor could not be determined. Warrant procedures were advised.

1400 block of Bond St. At 3:53 p.m. on June 6, two fourteen year-old children got into a fight.  A primary aggressor could not be determined.  

1300 block of Bayshire Lane. At 1:30 p.m. on June 5, Geovany Francisco Alvarez, a 20 year-old male of Herndon, was arrested for assaulting an acquaintance. He was transported to the Fairfax County ADC and held on a $1000 bond.

1400 block of Winterberry Court. At 1:30 p.m. on June 7, the complainant was threatened with physical assault over a cell phone.

<cal1>DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

<lst>700 block of Station St. At 3:05 p.m. on June 4, property management observed a subject strike and damage an exit sign. Warrant procedures were advised.

800 block of Alabama Drive. At 8:32 p.m. on June 5, unknown subject(s) wrote and left footprints in fresh concrete.

600 block of Center St. At 8:11 p.m. on June 6, a witness heard three or more loud bangs coming from the parking lot.  Upon checking he observed a vehicle with the side window broken and several dents and scratches on the doors.

900 block of Ferndale Ave. At 9:57 a.m. on June 6, unknown subject(s) spray painted graffiti on a wall.

<cal1>BURGLARY

<lst>400 Block Elden St. At 8:31 a.m. on June 7, unknown subject(s) forced entry into a business and removed cash.

<cal1>PHONE HARRASSMENT

<lst>400 block of Herndon Parkway. At 1 p.m. on June 3, the complainant advised she had received numerous threatening phone calls.

1400 block of Sterling Road. At 8:18 p.m. on June 6, the complainant advised she has received numerous obscene phone calls. The case is active.

<cal1>LARCENY

<lst>400 block of Elden St. At 5:59 p.m. on June 4, unknown subject(s) took the complainantís credit card.  Several charges were made.  

500 block of Grove St. At 5:20 p.m. on June 6, unknown subject(s) removed license plates from a parked car.

700 block of Elden St. At 2:11 p.m. on June 6, unknown subject(s) took a book bag from an unlocked vehicle.

1200 block of Bond St. At 11:42 p.m. on June 6, unknown subject(s) took a backpack from an unsecured parked car.

8000 block of Autumnhaze Court. At 3:19 a.m. on June 7, Fairfax County Police stopped two juveniles breaking into cars outside of the town limits.  During their interview it was found that the juveniles had also taken property from autos in Herndon.  The investigation is active.

1100 block of Artic Quill Court. At 8:45 a.m. on June 7, unknown subject(s) removed a cell phone and change from a parked auto.

1100 block of Crestview Drive. At 5:10 p.m. on June 7, the complainant was at his auto when he was approached by a dark skinned black male.  The subject asked for two dollars.  When the complainant removed cash from his pocket, the black male grabbed the bills and fled the area.

1400 block of Herndon Parkway. At 2:01 p.m. on June 7, an officer found a 13 year-old male runaway of Herndon. The officer found the juvenile to be in possession of marijuana, a stolen credit card and tobacco. The juvenile was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County JDC.

1200 block of Elden St. At 7:10 p.m. on June 2, Kenneth Joseph Warner, a 22 year-old male of Herndon, was arrested for Larceny and released on a summons.  Warner took candy from a business.

1000 block of Elden St. At 4:07 p.m. on June 3, unknown subject(s) took the complainant's purse while she was in a business. The purse contained cash, and identification.
