A public forum, hosted by the Western Montgomery County Citizens Advisory Board will be held to discuss the county’s FY05-10 Capital Improvements Program budget. Capital Improvements include costs for major construction and renovation of such facilities as schools, roads, parks, libraries, among others. The forum is designed to help set priorities for improvements in the western area of the county, which includes Potomac. The forum will be held at the B-CC Regional Services Center, 4805 Edgemoor Lane, Bethesda.

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Comission’s Montgomery County Department of Park and Planning together with the Montgomery County Deer Management Work Group (DMWG) will host its annual public information meeting on the county’s deer management program. Representatives from the Maryland Cooperative Extension Service and the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife & Heritage Division, will make an educational presentation on options available to homeownders to reduce damage caused by deer.
