The St. Mary's Mother's Group will present the annual "Kid's Stuff" sale on Saturday, June 7, 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The non-profit group will accept donations of gently used toys, infant and maternity items and clothing up to size 14 from Monday, June 2 through Friday, June 6. Rev. Thomas Gulbronson will speak at Jubilee Christian Center on Saturday, June 7, 8 a.m., at the men's breakfast. He will also speak on Sunday, June 8, at the 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. worship services. Silverbrook UMC will honor the memory of church member Harold J. Wilson Sr. on Sunday, June 8 at 5 p.m., by staging a cello and organ concert of favorite hymns and melodies. This concert will feature Jan Kobialka, former principal cellist with the U.S. Air Force band, and his wife Gayla, Messiah UMC organist. This event is free and an offering will be collected for the Harold J. Wilson Scholarship Fund, which works to send underprivileged children to summer camp. Father Amjad Sabbara, pastor from the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, will visit the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Fairfax on Monday, June 9, at 7:30 p.m. The Bethlehem Lutheran Church is located at 8922 Little River Turnpike, Fairfax. Harvest Church will host 3D, a touring drama team from Valley Forge Christian College, on Wednesday, June 11, at its 7 p.m. service. Spring Seminar at the Ejoki Buddhist Temple. On Saturday, June 14, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Reverend William Masuda from the Mountain View Buddhist Temple in Mountain View, Calif. will lead a seminar titled, "The Practice of Trust in Buddhism." Masuda will discuss the underlying principles of Shin Buddhism. Admission is free. Lunch will be provided. The Ejoki Buddhist Temple is located at 6500 Lake Haven Lane, Fairfax Station.

Lord of Life Lutheran Church offers three weeks of summer camps in July for elementary school age girls and boys at the church's Fairfax location at 5114 Twinbrook Road. The first is an arts and crafts camp from July 14-18, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Rising kindergartners to second graders will have crafts and games; rising third to sixth graders will have art classes with a talented artist.

From July 21-25, a music and theater arts camp will be offered from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. This camp is open to rising first and fourth graders and returning older students who attended last year's camp and want to help this year. From July 28-Aug. 1, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., a sports and games camp for rising first to third graders and rising fourth to sixth graders will be offered. The two camps will run during the same time with appropriate activities for each age group.

All camps will be $40 per child for each camp with a maximum of $80 per family for each camp (two children or more.) For more information, contact the Lord of Life Church office at 703-323-9500. Burke Presbyterian Church will host its first theater camp this summer, July 14-18, 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. The camp is open to rising fourth through sixth graders. The cost is $25 per child. Vacation Bible School will take place July 21 through 25, 9 a.m.-12 p.m., and is open to children who age 3 through rising sixth graders. The cost is $20 per child. The Ekoji Buddhist Temple of the greater Washington, D.C., area supports the practice of Shin Buddhists.
