Albert S. Harris, Sr., a resident of Wardensville, W. Va., died on July 26 at the age of 85. He was born June 16, 1918 to the late Raymond and Sarah Harris.
Harris is survived by five daughters, Margaret A. Brent of Herndon; Mary K. Woodard of Washington, D.C.; Lucinda L. Plummer of Washington, D.C.; Sylvia B. Lucas of Leesburg; and Amanda J. Harris of Herndon; two sons, Albert S. Harris, Jr. of Lubbock, Texas and Raymond C. Harris of Clinton, Md.; two sisters, Helen Johnson of St. Louis, Va. and Sarah V. Mudd of Winchester, Va.; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
A wake will be held on Wednesday, July 30 at 10 a.m. with funeral services at 11 a.m. at Lyles Funeral Chapel in Purcellville. Interment will be at Allum Bank Cemetery, Wardensville, W. Va.
