Sponsored by the McLean Community Center and supported by a special tax district, the Old Firehouse Teen Center is located across from Starbucks at 1440 Chain Bridge Road, McLean. It sponsors dances, battles of the bands and offers a place for young people to congregate after school. The annual membership of $25, for those living inside the McLean small tax district, includes access to the center, free pool, table tennis, volleyball, discounted admission to events and discounts at local businesses. Those outside the district pay $30. Open to all Fairfax County students in grades 7-12. The center sponsors a dance every Friday, 7-10 p.m., for students in grades 7 and 8. 703-448-TEEN.
