Cadet Justin Flynn, son of Peter and Tamre Flynn of Kingstowne, graduated from the U.S. Military Academy on May 31. He was commissioned a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army upon graduation from West Point. Flynn branched Aviation and will attend Officer's Basic Training at Ft. Rucker, Ala. He is a 1998 graduate of Hayfield Secondary School.
Army Pvt. Randall B. Brink Jr. has arrived for duty at the Vilseck-Grafenwoehr Military Community in Germany. Brink is an armor crewman assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 63rd Armor, Vilseck. The private has served in the military for less than one year. He is the son of Randall B. Brink and stepson of Debra L. Brink of Tyrolean Way, Springfield. The private is a 2002 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School.
