Rebecca B. "Becky" Coleman, 75, formerly of Hamilton, Va., died Jan. 16, 2003 at her residence in Reston.
Coleman retired in 1995 from the Xerox Training Center in Leesburg after 25 years and was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Leesburg.
Born on March 7, 1927, she is survived by two daughters, Mildred Daye of Reston and Gwendolyn Whiting of Paeonian Springs; two sons, Jimmy Coleman of Leesburg and Bernard Coleman of Winchester. Other survivors include: two daughters-in-law, Hope and Lena Coleman, one adopted daughter-in-law, Ruth Ann Holland, and one son-in-law, Wilbur Whiting and a brother-in-law, Elbert C. Moore, as well as 12 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Jan. 23 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church, 205 Church Street, S.E., Leesburg. Funeral services, arranged by Lyles Funeral Service, will be held Jan. 24 at 11 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church, Leesburg. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hamilton.
