<lst>Louis Victor Priebe, a resident of Springfield since 1970, was inducted into the National Capital Public Relations Hall of Fame on Dec. 12.
Priebe heads PRiebe PR, a consulting firm which advises trade and professional, religious institutions and public service agencies on how to attain public awareness. He has been selected as one of the nation’s 100 top PR superstars by the journal “Public Relations Quarterly,” and D.C. Mayor Williams proclaimed Dec. 12 as “Louis Victor Priebe Day.”
Daniel Bohman, 24, of Fairfax, won third place in an auto glass design competition sponsored by Pittsburgh-based glassmaker PPG Industries. Bohman is a sophomore at Detroit's College for Creative Studies and won a $500 scholarship for his design of a crossover between a sport-utility vehicle and station wagon. He is the son of Charles and Sally Bohman and a 1996 graduate of Woodson High School.
