St. Mary of Sorrows Church, 5222 Sideburn Road in Fairfax is offering an educational program for Adult Children of Dysfunctional Families/Adult Children of Alcoholics, a six-week series beginning Jan. 17, 7:30-9:30 p.m. $125. Call Carol Parowski at 703-644-3962.

The Women's Ministry at Jubilee Christian Center is starting a new Bible study, discussing the book "Breaking Free," by Beth Moore. New World Unity Activity Center will be offering life-enhancing classes beginning in January. “4T-Tithing Your Time, Talent and Treasure for the Fullness of Life” is a 12-week experience designed to teach the foundation for change through prayer. It meets Sundays, through March 30, at 2 p.m.

“Life of a Prayer: Part A” is a class that looks at how to know God, each other and the relationship to the whole. The class will meet Wednesdays at 10 a.m.

The Celebration Singers, a costumed and choreographed, all-volunteer, women's show chorus, invites singers to join them. The group sings a variety of music in three voice ranges — soprano, second soprano and alto.
