'Twas the night before Christmas and, apparently, Santa wasn't the only one up and about. Fairfax County police are looking for three men who robbed a female employee of the Domino's Pizza in Centreville Square, on Dec. 24, around 1 a.m. She'd just closed the business when the robbery occurred.
Police say the woman, 33, of Gainesville, was walking to her car, outside the rear of the store, when she was approached by three men who'd been hiding behind a dumpster. One of the men was armed with a gun and demanded that she give him the store's night deposit. The woman dropped the bag containing the money on the ground, one of the men grabbed it and all three took off running behind the shopping center (Domino's is at 14120 Lee Highway in Centreville).
A police helicopter and K-9 units helped search the area for the men, but to no avail. The first suspect is described as black, 5 feet 10 inches, wearing a plaid scarf around his face and a black, hooded sweatshirt with the hood up. The second suspect is described as black, 5 feet 7 inches, wearing a black bandana over his face and a gray, hooded sweatshirt with the hood up.
The third suspect is described similar to the second one, except that he wore a blue, hooded sweatshirt with the hood up. Anyone with information about this incident or the suspects is asked to call police at 703-691-2131.
