Every Friday, future chefs from Stratford College’s School of Culinary Arts, 7777 Leesburg Pike, Suite 500, Tysons Corner, invite the public to come and enjoy the fine cuisine that they prepare and serve. A different style of service — buffet, traditional or Russian — is highlighted each week. Lunch ($12) is served promptly at 11 a.m., dinner ($18) at 8 p.m., and a happy hour is available 6-8 p.m. Call 703-821-8570 for reservations or information.

Where would epicureans and wine aficionados be able to have a six-course meal prepared by award-winning chefs, find Sarah Scott chef for the Robert Mondavi Family of Wines hosting a cooking demonstration, taste more than 150 different wines, enjoy a dinner prepared by six of the worlds most acclaimed chefs and dance into the wee small hours of the night? At the fifth annual Fine Art of Cuisine sponsored by The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner, January 17 to 19.

This yearís honorees are Dennis Cakebread of Cakebread Winery and Gary Danko of Gary Danko Restaurant in San Francisco. Previous honorees have included Jean-Louis Palladin, Thomas Keller, Michel Richard, Michael Mondavi and Daniel Mirrasou.

An Artists' Fare Brunch features a lavish Sunday brunch featuring the cuisine from

Ritz-Carlton chefs of the northeast region. Guests will enjoy seasonal fare while sipping champagne and listening to the Metro Jazz Orchestra.

11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

$60 per person

The three-day celebration can be purchased separately or in an overnight package with a special rate. The a la carte events range in price from $60 to $175 per person. Overnight packages with tickets for the events start at $625, $800 or $1200.
