Stray Pets

The following is a list of stray pets that are being held at the Loudoun County Animal Shelter, located on Route 9 at the intersection of Route 704. Animals can be viewed at the shelter Monday, Tuesday, 1-6 p.m.; Wednesday, 1-8 p.m.; Thursday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Friday 10:00 a.m.- 6 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. The shelter number is 703-777-0406 or 540-882-3211. It is also possible to adopt animals.

<lst>Hound-Beagle. A 1-year-old red female was found on Main Street in Purcelville on Feb. 18.

Spaniel. A red 7-year-old female was found at Sterling Park, Sterling, on Feb. 19.

Labrador-Retriever Mix. A 2-month-old tan and white female was found in Hamilton on Feb. 19.

Labrador-Retriever. A 1-year-old black male was found at Galloway Drive, Leesburg, on Feb. 20.

Beagle. A white and brown neutered male was found at Snickerville Turnpike, Philomont, on Feb. 21.

Poodle-miniature Mix. A 3-year-old white female was found at Flintonbridge, South Riding, on Feb. 2.

Pitbull. A 3-month-old black and brown male was found at North Harrison Road, Sterling, on Feb. 2.

Terrier Mix. A 3-year-old tan and white spayed female was found at Fort Evans Road, Leesburg, on Jan. 27.

Hound Mix. A 2-year-old black and brown male was found tied to the shelter gate in Waterford, Va. on Jan. 28.
