The Greater Reston Arts Center (GRACE) and the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce (GRCC) announce the winners of its second annual Business Arts Awards Program. The awards will be presented at GRACE’s Mardi Gras Champagne Art Auction on Saturday, March 1, at Oracle Corporation headquarters in Reston. The honorees are being formally recognized for their generous support for the arts and for GRACE in particular. The honorees are:

Equity Office, owner and manager of Reston Town Center’s Phase I, is being recognized for their continual support of GRACE as a cultural anchor of the Reston Town Center and for their financial contributions to the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival.

The Hyatt Regency Reston, and Market Street Bar and Grill are being honored for their partnership with GRACE in presenting exhibits at Market Street, hosting the opening receptions, and for underwriting the marketing of the exhibits.

Times Community Newspapers on being honored for their continual reporting on the cultural activities of our Reston community and for The Times support of the programs of the Greater Reston Arts Center, including the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival.

Long and Foster has announced its top sales associates for the month of January.

Herndon/Reston: Jimmy O'Burns was the top producer with a sales volume of $3,178,700. Virgilio Vasquez was the top lister, top seller and the agent with the most new listings.

Reston: Cookie Lipin was the top producer and the top seller with a sales volume of $2,536,735. Boofie O'Gorman was the top lister and the agent with the most new listings.

Reston/North Hills: Laura Yi was top producer and top the seller with a sales volume of $1,916,300. Sam Collins as the top lister.
