Raymond L. Ryan, Jr., 65, of Reston died on Nov. 26, 2003 at Reston Hospital. He was born Feb. 10, 1938 in Louisville, Ky. to the late Raymond L., Sr. and Mary Scharfenberger Ryan.
Ryan was the husband of Mary Ryan; father of Beth Ryan of Reston, Sarah Smurda of Reston, Ann MacKenzie of Herndon and Tim Ryan of Charlotte, N.C.; brother of Thomas Ryan of Louisville, Ky. and Kathleen Albers of Richmond, Va.; grandfather of Mike Smurda, Catie MacKenzie and Davis and Mattie Ryan.
Funeral services were private. The family suggests memorial contributions be send to Sisters of St. Benedict, 802 E. 10th St., Ferdinand, IN 47532-9239. Arrangements were made by Adams-Green Funeral Home in Herndon.
