Corporate Office Properties Trust, based in Columbia, Md., has acquired five Class A office buildings totaling 433,814 square feet in the Herndon and Dulles South submarkets. The buildings are One and Two Dulles Technology Center and One, Two and Three Ridgeview at Westfields. The buildings are 96 percent leased. Purchase price was $75.2 million. They bring Corporate Office Properties' ownership in Northern Virginia to over 1.6 million square feet.

In a recent statement, Long & Foster Companies reported that total sales for June reached an all-time company record of $4.6 billion for the month. The previous record month was May, 2003, with $4.4 billion in sales. Sales levels are up 28 percent year-to-date over last year's record levels. The report factors in sales figures from Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc. and Prosperity Mortgage, the firm's mortgage affiliate. The company is based in Fairfax.

Weichert Realtors' Herndon office, 13079 Worldgate Drive, has announced the achievements of several sales associates for March. Ginger Wassum was honored as top producer with the most resale revenue units and the highest dollar volume. Ron Layton generated the most listings and the most listings sold. Martha Cheyne-Ramirez was recognized as the top sales associate.

Weichert, Realtor’s Herndon Office has honored two employees for being the top producers in April and May. Anne Flynn generated the most sales as well as the most resale revenue units and the highest dollar volume. Ron Layton generated the most listings and the most listings sold.

The Herndon office reported closing May with 23 sales.
