<lst>The following incidents were reported to the City of Fairfax Police Department.

<cal1>Abduction

<cal2>10829 Lee Highway / Breezeway Motel – On July 26, between 12:30 a.m. and 12:55 a.m., the victim advised that she had been abducted by an acquaintance. The victim was able to get away and contact the police. The subject was identified and later arrested. Michael Edward Tarr, 34, of no fixed address, was charged with abduction and carrying a concealed weapon. He is being held without bond.

<cal1>Assault

<cal2>West Drive / Ardmore Place – On July 26, at 5:40 p.m., three unknown subjects assaulted the victim after he got off the bus, then left in a vehicle. A check of the area could not locate the subjects or the vehicle.

<cal1>Attempted Burglary

<cal2>10300 Eaton Place / Ameri Credit Financial Services – Sometime between July 28 and July 29, unknown person(s) attempted to gain entry into the business by prying open the door. The Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the case.

<cal1>Attempted Stolen Vehicle

<cal2>10302 Eaton Place / Willow Wood Plaza – On July 29, between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., unknown person(s) smashed out a window of a vehicle and damaged the ignition of the vehicle while it was parked in the lot.

<cal1>Attempted Larceny

<cal2>10810 Fairchester Drive / 7-11 – On July 28, at 1:46 a.m., three unknown subject(s) came into the business and attempted to steal cigarettes. In the process they broke a coffeepot. The subjects then left in a vehicle.

<cal1>Burglary

<cal2>4200 Roberts Road / Fairfax Swimming Pool – Sometime between July 30 and July 31, unknown person(s) climbed the fence and gained entry into the pool snack bar. Once inside they stole several items. The Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the case.

<cal1>Larceny

<cal2>10386 Democracy Lane – Sometime between July 24 and July 25, unknown person(s) stole painting equipment that was left over night in the office building.

11180 Main St. / Comfort Inn – Sometime between July 19 and July 25, unknown person(s) stole jewelry from one of the guest rooms. The Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the case.

10460 Lee Highway / Jim McKay Used Cars – Sometime between July 25 and July 26, unknown person(s) stole a door off of a vehicle while it was parked at the business.

Bradwater Street 3900 Block – Sometime between July 22 and July 26, unknown person(s) stole a bicycle from the back yard of the residence.

10560 Main St. / Bridges – On July 26, between 1 a.m. and 1:45 a.m., unknown person(s) stole several items from a vehicle while it was parked at the business.

4315 Chain Bridge Road / INOVA Commonwealth Care – On July 26, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., unknown person(s) stole money from a vehicle while it was parked at the business. The Patrol Division is investigating the case.

9940 Mathy Drive / In Step School of Dance – On July 26, between 11:30 p.m. and 12 a.m., unknown person(s) stole a purse from an unlocked vehicle while it was parked in front of the business.

3963 Oak Street / Oak Knoll Apartments - On July 27, at 11:42 p.m., a resident observed two subjects remove a telescope from an apartment balcony. When the resident yelled at the subjects, they dropped the item and ran. Officers were able to locate both subjects. Both were juveniles and released to their parents. The Patrol Division is investigating the case.

10570 Main St. / Mosby Building – Sometime between July 23 and July 26, unknown person(s) stole a license plate from a motorcycle while it was parked in front of the apartment building.

11020 Main St. / Fairfax Honda – Sometime between July 15 and July 29, unknown person(s) stole vehicle parts from inside a customers vehicle while it was parked at the business.

9504 Arlington Blvd. / Performance Bicycle – On July 26, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., unknown person(s) stole a bicycle from the business.

10829 Lee Highway / Breezeway Motel – On July 30, between 7:50 a.m. and 5 p.m., unknown person(s) stole money from an unattended wallet from one of the guest’s room.

11166 Main St. / 50/66 Building – On July 31, between 1:50 and 2:40 p.m., unknown person(s) stole stereo equipment from a vehicle while it was parked in the lot.

9495 Arlington Blvd. / Foxcroft Colony – Sometime between July 30 and July 31, unknown person(s) stole stereo equipment from a vehicle while it was parked in front of the residence.

3204 Old Pickett Road / Music House – On July 31, between 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., unknown person(s) stole two unsecured bicycles from in front of the business.

11180 Main Street / Comfort Inn - On July 31, between 10:30 a.m. and 7:15 p.m., unknown person(s) stole stereo equipment from a vehicle while it was parked at the business.

<cal2>3195 Old Lee Highway / McDonalds – On July 24 between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., unknown person(s) drew pictures in the freshly poured concrete sidewalk.

9910 Fairfax Square / Fairfax Square Apartments – On July 27, between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., unknown person(s) smashed out a window of a vehicle while it was parked in front of the residence.

10313 Lee Highway / Suburban Auto Body – Sometime between July 28 and July 29, unknown person(s) spray painted graffiti along the building and a customer's vehicle.

10304 Eaton Place / Willow Wood Plaza – Sometime between July 28 and July 29, unknown person(s) smashed out two windows of a vehicle while it was parked at the building.

10675 Lee Highway / Paul VI – Sometime between July 30 and July 31, unknown person(s) broke the windows of some construction vehicles parked at the school.

3800 Block of Wilcoxson Drive – On July 31, between 7:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m., unknown person(s) scratched the paint of a vehicle while it was parked in front of the residence.
